What We Can Do - Others...There is so much more that Hypnotherapy treatments can either fully alleviate, or at least relieve, that it is impossible to cover each area on it's own page. Look through the alphabetical list below, some of the items are clearly linked to aspects of those areas which are covered by a whole page, others are areas in their own right. If you don't see what you're looking for, and you live in or near the Chester, Wrexham, Oswestry corridor, in Wirral or Nantwich, then feel free to call, and arrange a free first appointment with Alan, the Hypnotherapist, to talk over your circumstances more thoroughly, and look at how Hypnotherapy may help you.
*Children can become viable candidates for Hypnotherapy after the age of 6/7, depending on the individual. and often make the very best subjects. All children/teenagers below the age of 17 must be seen, in the first instance, with their parent or legal guardian, who will be required to provide signed consent to ongoing treatment. After this, the child may be seen away from their parent/guardian, privately, or possibly just in a separate room, and in either case on the basis of the ongoing sessions being audio recorded throughout. It may be necessary to hold the session in the presence of an independent, none participating (CRB checked) witness, provided by Positive Hypnotherapy, which will incur additional expense to the client (see tariff). The aim is to provide a private environment where children feel safe to speak their minds in confidence, which is nevertheless satisfactorily monitored, for the protection of the child, and all concerned parties. In the event of a child/teenager revealing, within therapy, details of physical and/or sexual abuse, the Police will always be called as policy, and therefore become the determinants of wether the allegations have any validity. If you are a child, and you wish to speak to somebody without your parents consent, you should contact Childline on 0800 1111 where you can speak to somebody, and get good advice, in complete confidence.
You're not ready to commit to therapy, but you want to do something? Then why not try:
